"Flying High at the Reef Bar" is from my series, "Don't Drink Like a Fishâ„¢", with well over 300 paintings so far. (The originals range in size from 2" x 3", to 48" x 72.") I have been creating this art since 2003, and living in Florida, I am inspired by the beach, coral reefs and many tropical drinks and fabrics. The "Fish" are now living all over the world.
The inspiration for the painting "Flying High at the Reef Bar" is a happy afternoon at the Reef Bar, with a cute shrimp playing his guitar. Of course the stars of the painting are the awesome "flying fish" who are "flying" out of their cocktails. Lots of colors in the underwater scene, and an octopus coming out of a sponge. The original is available, it is 24"x30" ( at WildChild Gallery in Matlacha, FL)
