"Blue Sky Beach Party" is from my series, "Don't Drink Like a Fish™", with well over 300 paintings so far. (The originals range in size from 2" x 3", to 48" x 72.") I have been creating this art since 2003, and living in Florida, I am inspired by the beach, coral reefs and many tropical drinks and fabrics. The "Fish" are now living all over the world.
The inspiration for the painting "Blue Sky Beach Party" was a post by a friend of her "Blue Sky" Cocktail. The 'fish" and a few geckoes (Florida anoles) are enjoying being back together at the beach. The small blue cocktail with the French Angel fish is called a "Blue Sky". The painting is whimsical, and bright, with a bright blue sky and a sailboat passing in the distance.
